Maternity Photo Shoot In Palm Beach: Matt & Katy

This photo shoot started out pretty rocky (no pun intended)! The humidity that day was extremely high and it affected the equipment. The moment the camera came out of the bag and the cap was taken off, condensation hit the lens and it was difficult cleaning it off. Lesson learned– we now bring extra cleaning supplies to work around this issue. The heat in Florida is no joke! Luckily we were able to get some great shots of these three.

Katy was such a trooper walking all the way out to the rocks through the sand. You really forget how hard it is to tread through that stuff until you're back out there. We can only imagine how much harder it is with baby in tow! Speaking of baby, we're sure you are curious about the gender...

Matt and Katy had a beautiful baby girl and she is absolutely gorgeous! We can't wait to do a photo shoot with her for the first time. You'll have to stay tuned to see her first shoot and learn her name.

For this shoot we went to the Worth Avenue Clock Tower in Palm Beach before sunset. We love to shoot at sunrise or sunset for the best lighting. Our favorite time is sunrise because less people are out and about. If you are shooting in a public place it's ideal to go at a time that less people will go. The beach was pretty packed on this day at this hour. We were able to work around everyone though. Click the button below to see their gallery.
