Port St. Lucie Maternity / Family Photo Shoot - The Riveras

When we arrived to Oak Hammock Park, it had recently rained and the trails were not the most ideal. The Riveras were all troopers and we found a decent path through and start our search for a setting. We were originally planning on heading further down the trail to a large banyan tree. The trail was too rough to go that far so we searched for an alternative spot.

We came upon a portion of the trail that offered the longest straight path. On either side are large towering trees providing intense shade over us. It created a dark exposure for the photos so we used a large and powerful light on a stand and another light on the camera body.

We love how poetic this shoot turned out. They are walking the path of life as a family hand-in-hand. Although there is darkness on either side, they continue to follow the path of the light.
